SAGINAW, MI — The Saginaw County Association of Police Chiefs is gearing up for its 40th annual fundraiser.
This year country singer Aaron Tippin is headlining a concert in downtown Saginaw.

Event organizer Saginaw Valley State University Police Chief Ronald Trepkowski said he expects a good show.

“I’m a country fan,” Trepkowski said. “Aaron Tippin is going to put on a good show.”

Tippin, along with Morgan Frazier, will perform at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 28 at the Temple Theatre in downtown Saginaw.

Trepkowski, current vice president of the association, has been a coordinator of the event for four years, and a member of the association since 2004.

“We are hoping people will come out and enjoy the show,” he said.

Tickets cost $25.
Money raised from the event goes to various organizations in the community, Trepkowski said.
